For the past 14 years, Pastor Joseph has been on a mission, faithfully serving his congregation in the Buyende District, Green Zone. His journey in ministry, though challenging, has been a testament to his unwavering dedication. Initially drawn to the Lord as a means to escape the threats of Hell and HIV/AIDS, his journey led to a profound understanding of salvation. Despite facing skepticism from some urban pastors who've questioned the value of rural ministry, he persists, driven by a calling that is deeper than material gain. Despite setbacks, through God's grace, he has witnessed the growth of his congregation and even planted two additional churches.

Pastor Joseph has been married to Kwikiliza Justine for 15 years; they have eight children together. At present, he and his wife are struggling relationally and facing other extended family conflicts as well.  When he was informed that the Rural Pastors Institute could offer guidance on navigating the complexities of his family dynamics and pastoral challenges, he was given renewed hope. He views RPI as a beacon of that hope.  As he quests for genuine biblical truth and discipleship, he anticipates RPI will help him overcome discouragement, disillusionment, and faulty self-serving strategies.

He has always wanted to attend Bible school; however, financial constraints and a weakening arm injury have hindered his efforts. His modest income as Local Council Chairperson barely sustains his family's needs, as he only earns $100 annually. He could never afford the type of education and training that the Rural Pastors Institute offers.
