Pastor Ali was born into a Muslim family which was also active in ancestral worship. Education wasn't something his parents regarded highly so he never received a formal education. For most of his life, Ps. Ali failed at everything he tried and he was even arrested several times for different offenses.
His life changed when he came to Christ in 2000 and became a pastor in 2005. His first church met under a shade tree. Currently, he pastors a church in the Busuyi village of the Kamuli district and he has 90 people in his congregation.
Ps. Ali has been married to his wife Diana for 20 years and they have eight children. His annual income averages 500 USD.
