Stephen’s Story
Pastor Stephen recalls a childhood marked by illness, attending church only on Christmas—until missionaries came in 2000, sharing the gospel from door to door. That is when he gave his life to Christ. In 2023, he stepped into pastoral ministry but quickly realized how unprepared he was. He often found himself randomly selecting Scriptures to preach and was unable to answer questions from his congregation. The church struggled with disunity, and he worked tirelessly to bring people together, even as he faced ongoing personal and family health challenges, including repeated surgeries.
He is married to Hellen, and together they have ten children. At times, he felt overwhelmed, as though nothing was working.
One day, he met a friend who had completed RPI training and saw a remarkable transformation in his life and ministry. This stirred a deep desire in him to receive the same training. However, with an annual income of just $100, it remains far beyond his reach.
