Your investment supports pastoral education and training as a whole. You can invest in the program while continuing to follow, learn about, encourage, and pray for pastors like Pastor George throughout their journey.
Sponsor NowBorn and raised in a Catholic home, Pastor George never imagined he would one day come to know the Lord as his personal Savior and establish a relationship with Jesus. That changed when a group of white missionaries visited his village and shared the gospel. Their joy and excitement in salvation deeply moved him. Inspired by their example, he gave his life to Christ.
Later, he relocated to a new community where the local church lacked genuine leadership. The existing leader treated the church like a personal enterprise, controlling every activity even though he rarely participated and was not a Christian himself. When he discovered that Pastor George had started teaching sermons without his permission and was actively fellowshipping with other believers, he expelled him from the church along with those who supported him.
Pastor George faced many trials, including losing access to the original church land. But with determination, he led his group to purchase new land, and today they have a church of their own.
After witnessing the kind of teaching at the Rural Pastors Institute (RPI), Pastor George said, “The teaching here is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. When questions are asked, they receive answers in real time. This is an opportunity I’ve never had in all my years of ministry.”
Your sponsorship is what makes this training possible for men like George — equipping them to teach, lead, and serve with wisdom. Your support makes this transformational training possible, grounding him deeply in the Word of God.
Thank you for being a Pastoral Sponsor at Rural Pastors International.

In September 2026, 20 RPI pastors and their wives completed entrepreneurship training in partnership with Ekisinga. The training provided practical instruction designed to help families develop sustainable sources of income while pastors continue faithfully serving their churches and communities.
The pastors also toured RPI's goat project as they prepare for future hands-on training. The project is one of the practical ways RPI is exploring opportunities that can help pastors and their families strengthen household sustainability.
Alongside vocational development, RPI continues providing discipleship, follow-up, encouragement, and practical training for graduate pastors as they apply what they have learned within their families, churches, and communities.
RPI's goat project is one of the practical ways we are developing our Vocational / Sustainability / Discipleship Program. Through raising and caring for goats, we are creating opportunities for pastors to learn valuable agricultural skills that can help them better provide for their families.
The project continues to grow, with new baby goats being born at RPI! As the herd grows, so does the potential for this project to benefit more pastors and their families.
Our goal is to equip pastors with practical knowledge and sustainable opportunities that can strengthen their families and communities while allowing them to continue faithfully serving in ministry.
RPI's relationship with pastors continues beyond their initial biblical training. Through ongoing discipleship, encouragement, follow-up, continued learning, and practical sustainability training, pastors like George can continue growing as leaders while working toward stronger families, churches, and ministries.
Your recurring monthly gift supports the education and training of all pastors in the Vocational / Sustainability / Discipleship Program, not one individual pastor.
