Patrick’s Story
Before coming to Christ, Pastor Patrick lived a life marked by alcohol, smoking, and involvement in witchcraft. Despite inner convictions, it was his wife who led him to Christ in 1997 and introduced him to church. Sadly, she later passed away, leaving him with one child.
Desiring to remain connected to the church, he invited his pastor to plant a church in his compound due to the long distance he had to travel. He became deeply involved in ministry and grew in zeal for the Lord.
In his early passion, he actively opposed witchcraft in his community, even destroying shrines. This provoked his family, who sought to kill him, forcing him to flee. While in exile, he planted another church. Years later, he returned to his village and has continued in ministry since 2004.
His life has also been marked by personal loss—he lost two more wives after remarrying. These were deeply painful seasons. He is now married to Harriet, who has stood with him for the past eight years.
Today, as a leader overseeing more than 20 churches, he carries a great responsibility. Yet he feels the weight of lacking proper training, especially as leaders look to him for guidance and answers. When he heard about RPI, he recognized it as the help he has long needed. With an annual income of $300, he cannot afford the training.
