As of 2026, Pastor Francis is approximately 73 years old. He is a retired government teacher and has been married to his wife, Norah, for approximately 49 years. Together they have six children.
As a local area leader in 2000, Pastor Francis was handling a dispute in his community when the testimony of a Christian stood out to him. It was then that he came to know the Lord as his Savior. He became a pastor five years later and he began caring for a church.
Being a first-time pastor, he had no idea what to do and learned everything about the ministry on the job. He was invited to a village conference organized by the Rural Pastors Institute; this was a big blessing at the time. When a one-year training opportunity was mentioned at the Rural Pastors Institute he says, “I was so excited about this school because it came at the right time and I thought to myself, ‘I can’t miss out on this opportunity to learn’”.
Pastor Francis pastors Loving Arms of Christ, which is a congregation of 150 people in the Kasodo Village of the Pallisa District. He has an annual income of $4,285.

RPI continues to encourage and equip rural pastors through biblical discipleship, practical sustainability training, and ongoing relationships. New personal updates about Pastor Francis Kagodo will be shared when verified.
RPI's goat project is one of the practical ways we are developing our Vocational / Sustainability / Discipleship Program. Through raising and caring for goats, we are creating opportunities for pastors to learn valuable agricultural skills that can help them better provide for their families.
The project continues to grow, with new baby goats being born at RPI! As the herd grows, so does the potential for this project to benefit more pastors and their families.
Our goal is to equip pastors with practical knowledge and sustainable opportunities that can strengthen their families and communities while allowing them to continue faithfully serving in ministry.

RPI's relationship with pastors continues beyond their initial biblical training. Through ongoing discipleship, encouragement, follow-up, and opportunities for practical sustainability training, participating pastors can continue growing as leaders while working toward stronger families, churches, and ministries.
