We are praising God for the incredible progress taking place at the RPI Dormitory — what was once a construction project is now becoming a fully functioning space ready to serve pastors!

From foundational systems to final finishes, the past few months have been filled with meaningful milestones that are bringing this vision to life.

The Progress

Since the beginning of the year, work has steadily moved forward across every part of the dormitory:

  • The main sewage line was completed and connected to both the dormitory and existing teaching buildings
  • Plastering was finished, and door frames were installed
  • Work shifted to finishing the upper floor, including preparation for tiling
  • A large septic system was constructed to support not only the dormitory, but future ministry expansion as well
  • A soak pit and pit latrine project began, designed for long-term sustainability

During this process, there were moments that reminded us just how important prayer is. One of the workers was nearly buried during a landslide while digging the pit latrine — and by God’s grace, his life was spared. Work has since resumed with added safety measures in place.

At the same time, progress continued across the dormitory itself:

  • Water tanks (4,000 liters each) were installed on elevated platforms to supply showers through a gravity-fed system
  • Electrical wiring was completed, and the building was powered for the first time — “and then came the light!”
  • Flooring was finalized, followed by interior painting

A Major Milestone

This past week marked a moment we have been praying for:

Bunk beds have been moved into the dormitory, and the building is now being prepared for use!

The plan is to begin using the dormitory immediately as alumni return for continued training sessions. What an incredible step — from vision, to construction, to active ministry use.

The Vision

This dormitory is more than a building — it is a place where pastors will come to rest, learn, and be strengthened for the work God has called them to. It will serve not only current students, but also alumni continuing their training and growth.

The Next Step

While the dormitory is now being used, there is still work to be done as we continue to improve and expand its capabilities (👈 IN PROGRESS).

👉 Thank you to all of you who have joined us in Phase 2! Your generosity and prayers have made moments like this possible.

If you haven’t yet partnered with us, there is still an opportunity to be part of what God is doing — helping finish and sustain a space that will impact pastors and communities for years to come.

Together, we are building more than walls — we are building a home for those who build the Church.
